Caillou is based on the book series created by children's author Christine L'Heureux and illustrator Hélène Desputeaux. The animated children's TV series is a hand drawn, French creation first debuting in Quebec, Canada in 1998. The show is targeted toward your 2-6 year old and returned to television in 2006 with new Adobe Flash based episodes. Trivia: the name Caillou means stone or pebble which may be associated with little Caillou having no hair and the shape of his head. Feel free to look around a bit.
